Pesky Storm Blankets Woodhaven

Snow fell throughout the day in New York today and in to the evening.  AccuWeather is warning that all untreated areas will be slippery and they are warning drivers to be careful of "black ice."  Project Woodhaven took a ride around town to see how the residents were faring - here are some photos:

A cab having trouble navigating the black ice on the hill going up 91st Street towards Forest Park.

And finally here is some video that we took.  We wanted to head up towards the park but had to take a different route as the hill was pretty slick (watch the video to see the trouble that the cab was having).  So we went down Woodaven Boulevard, down Jamaica Avenue, up Forest Parkway and then all the way through the Park until we hit Woodhaven Boulevard again.  There's no narration or music -- just the sights and sounds of Woodhaven in the midst of today's pesky storm.
