Finally, 6 years later, a new carousel in Forest Park is more than just a dream -- it's a reality. This article, from the NYDaily News, puts the date our carousel was built at 1890, which would make it 120 years old -- most recent articles we've seen says it was built in 1910. That's a 20-year difference. Interesting.
