We received a few complaints from residents close to Atlantic Avenue, near 97th Street -- apparently a local school bus company had taken to parking on the residential streets for long stretches of the day.  And this wasn't 1 or 2 buses -- this was a whole block full of them!  In some cases, driveways were partially blocked -- and it made finding a parking spot virtually impossible for the residents.  This situation started late last week.

The residents called the WRBA and we were able to call the Corporate Manager of the company, and then the manager of the local depot -- it turns out they were parking there because of construction on Atlantic Avenue, so it would have been a temporary situation anyway.  But they didn't want to cause distress in the neighborhood and promised to tell all their drivers to discontinue this practice.  And we're happy to report that today, we've heard from the residents of that area that the situation was "much improved."
