The Forest Park Dog Run -- aka the K-9 Korral -- has been hosting a Halloween Costume Contest for years.  If you have a dog, or know someone with a dog, and you live near Forest Park, then you owe it to your pup to get involved with this group.  Click here for their Facebook page.  Consider becoming a member of this group and supporting the dog run -- it's important and very healthy to have a place where our dogs can run freely and interact with others.

For now, though, sit back and enjoy these pictures taken on Saturday -- pups in costumes, it's hard to get cuter than that!

A Spider-Dog!

Moo!

Puppies in tu-tus are extremely cute.

Here's a little wiener.

Love this dog, with the tough face, wearing a banana.

The thing I love about the dog run is how the dogs all get together with each other, all excited to see one another.  Very healthy for them to interact with other pups.

There was a ton of different pups in costume.  Even if you don't have a dog (which, by the way, we don't) you can have a great time at this event.  The pups are great to watch.

This dog made for a great Zorro.

A dog walks into a saloon in the Old West and says "I'm looking for the man who shot my paw."  Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Love the cowboy dog.

Shorts are a problem if you have a tail -- unless you cut a nice big hole in them!

The Devil Dog!

Elvis has entered the dog run!

Elvis gets a little personal with a co-star.

My master is so nice - she carries me!

Two wieners - a big one and a small one.

Let's go Mets!

A Mardi Gras pup.

Sir Pooch of the Round Table!

"Yeah, I'm a butterfly.  You got a problem wit dat?"

A cute little Nurse dog.

Sitting, relaxing -- the day almost over.  Looking forward to next year.  Congratulations to all on a great event!
